I love October. It’s so exciting! And Halloween is just a few weeks away. Are you spontaneously deciding to propose soon? Halloween could be your perfect date!

Hi, I’m Nehar. I’ve been planning events for 15 years now, including some beautiful surprise engagements.
Here are 5 ideas to consider for a Halloween engagement.
Pumpkin Picking
Take your sweetheart on a hayride to ‘pick some pumpkins’. Instead surprise her with a flower arrangement and ‘Marry Me?’ Written in mini pumpkins at the end of your trail.
She will love it. It’s super cute and perfect for this time of the year
Haunted House
Tell your partner you’re going on a haunted house tour, there are plenty to choose from around the UK. Instead, when she walks into the haunted house she finds it lit up in candles. You could prepare a romantic dinner or pop a bottle of champagne. To pull this idea off, it might be useful finding a proposal planner to help you with finding the right scenery etc.
Let’s have a chat about how I can help you have your Halloween proposal.

Trick or treat
If you already have kids, you might want to stay at home especially if your kids love trick or treating. Tell a family member to take your kids out and at one point tell them to knock on your own door and instead of saying ‘Trick or treat?’ They’ll be holding a sign saying ‘Will you marry me?’. Have your partner open and be standing behind them, it’ll be such a surprise! Pop open a bottle of champagne and celebrate.
Dress up
If you are dressing up for a Halloween event or just being at home in special outfits, consider something matching, or even sneaking her ring into her outfit. You might even want to do it in a way your fancy dress character would
At a Halloween Party
Are you attending or hosting a Halloween party this year? If so this could be the best place. You could have it in the punch, in a skull bowl, or even turn the lights out and go on one knee.
So, what do you think?
